Only 3-4 minutes walk from your door, Fish Hoek boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in the Cape and you might not be tempted to explore further. However if you can tear yourself away, the following are well worth investigating :

All the drive times mentioned below are outside rush hours. Rush hours are before 9 am and from 4.30 – 6.30 pm weekdays.

Local Fishing & Snorkeling
Fishing and snorkeling from the rocks along the Fish Hoek bay walkway.

The quaint antique shops, art galleries, restaurants and picturesque fishing harbour make a visit to Kalk Bay a must.

Lovely walks in the Silvermine Nature Reserve - an important conservation area for indigenous fynbos vegetation.

There are several restaurants in Fish Hoek and surrounds. On arrival at Blue Yonder, you will be given an information sheet with full details.
Visiting the penguin colony at Boulders Beach (just beyond Simonstown) is a must.
